Schäffer presents an extensive update of the compact and medium series in its telescopic wheel loader range. It includes the 3650 T, 4670 T, 5680 T and 6680 T models. The machines belong to the 37-55 kW (50-75 HP) power class with an operating weight of 3.7 to 6.3 tonnes. All the new machines meet the requirements of exhaust emission level Stage V by using a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and a diesel particulate filter (DPF).
The 3650 T is the most compact telescopic wheel loader in the Schäffer range with a lifting height of 3.85m. The 3.6 to 3.8 t heavy loader is an extremely manoeuvrable and agile machine with 2 different engine, speed and operator’s platform options. The customer has the choice between a 50 or 58 hp Kubota engine, a maximum speed of 20 or 28 km/h and a protective roof or cab. This allows the machine to be ideally tailored to the customer’s requirements.
With the 4670 T, Schäffer offers a powerful telescopic wheel loader powered by a 66 hp Kubota 4-cylinder engine. The compact dimensions of the machine – it has an overall height of only 2.25m – offer ideal conditions for indoor use. A lifting height of 4.30m and powerful working hydraulics are the basis for powerful loading work on this 4-ton loader.
The new 5680 T is powered by a 75 hp Deutz turbo diesel engine and has a lifting height of 4.74m. The new 5680 T is equipped with a hydraulic system that enables it to be operated at a high speed. The new, larger cab offers plenty of comfort for long working days and better all-round visibility. The articulated joint, combined with an oscillating rear axle ensure perfect stability. As with all telescopic wheel loaders, the 5680 T’s low-maintenance and low-wear multiple disk brakes and Ferro Form sliding elements in the telescopic arm ensure reliable operation and low follow-up costs.
The Schäffer 6680 T is part of the manufacturer’s professional class. The 75 hp machine of the 6 t class is ideally suited for extremely demanding loading work. New to this telescopic wheel loader is the SCV-Plus cab, which has already proven its worth on the larger machines. Generous glazing, a new airflow concept and an optimised arrangement of the controls offer the operator new standards of ergonomics and comfort. The machine is now equipped with 20” tyres as standard. With a lifting capacity of 3.1 tonnes, the machine lifts loads to a height of 4.95m.
All new machines are equipped with High Traction Force (HTF). HTF automatically regulates the thrust so the loader can supply the highest possible thrust even in a high gear. In addition, the Schäffer Power Transmission (SPT) electronically controlled drive is standard on the 36, 46 and 56 series machines. Here, an optionally available potentiometer assumes the function of a cruise control. The loader automatically maintains a constant speed regardless of the engine speed, which is particularly advantageous when working with feed dosing devices, straw distributors, mulchers or brooms.
Schäffer also offers the 4670 T, 5680 T and 6680 T telescopic loaders with wheel loader boom and Z-kinematics. The 3650 T is also available as the 3650 T SLT with a particularly low design starting at a height of only 2.02m.
